Brazil 1 - Germany 7:
Probably the most unexpected result of the whole World Cup. The game itself was not as exiting or as dramatic as it seemed it was more like a soft goal after another soft goal while Brazilian fans cried quietly on the stands💧. I was in shock and more in shock because Germany plays really soft, if the game was fast and dramatic I would have felt more believable. As the game kept going on everyone wished this game would be just done and over with. Germany obviously played well they were very organized and clean at playing no dirty tricks which is what I respect, that they were playing clean. Brazil, well Brazil I believe was playing really unorganized and a little dirty at one point as the time slipped and since Germany was playing soft I don't know when it hit them how many goals Germany was putting in, I believe they were playing a little better at one point but all their goals were rejected by the goalkeeper or missed shots! Brazil's first and last goal was their dignity goal made in the last minutes of the game. I will be honest I wanted the game to end because it was a little hard watching Brazil go down like this. Memorable: the 7 goals and the dignity goal, the fans crying on the stands.
Brazil 3 - Chile 2 :
Wow, this was probably one of the most exiting and nerve wrecking games! I preferred if Chile had won, they played so well. They tied 2-2 went then went to the most nerve wrecking penalties in this World Cup. If the Chilean player would have made the last penalty they would have gone to round 2 of penalties. It was a tight game. I was nervous for Chile and I think a little crushed along with the Chileans when Brazil was saved by the last penalty. Such a tight game only to be lost dramatically by the last penalty hitting the post of the goal, I will always remember this game. Memorable: "El Palo de Pinilla" which was supposed to be Pinilla's goal and of course the last penalty ending this game dramatically.
Brazil 0 - Mexico 0
Exiting game, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time nervous, extremely nervous! I believe this was the best 0-0 game in the World Cup. The whole time I would say it was even with Brazil dominating the first half and Mexico the second half, they could have easily both scored goals well not for Brazil. The fans were great and even though there were quite a lot of Brazilians on the stadium Mexico definitely was loud. The atmosphere seemed nice and made the game all that more interesting and dramatic! Beautiful game I will never forget the amazing saves Memo Ochoa made! Memo-rable (Pun): If the Memo-rable doesn't say it I don't know what does! Memo Ochoa made 6 saves against Brazil it's not so important how many saves he made but the fact that he stopped some of the hardest rejected goals ever! He stopped Neymar's headbutt and a couple other goals that were extremely difficult due to how the ball was kicked in speed and how close it was to the goal!
Argentina, today lost against Germany and I thought about how unfair it is that a lot of latin americans chose to not support Argentina and when I say not support Argentina I mean support Germany and wish the worst to Argentina. Is it rivarly? ignorance? I think it's a bit of both but mainly leaning towards ignorance but I wish it was just rivalry. I don't
mean to sound like a hypocrite but I don't get why Latin Americans can't
just be as a family with each other and support each other instead of
getting into ignorant ideas about a whole country. The reason a lot of Mexicans, Brazilians, and latinos in general basically have a negative generalization about Argentinians is because they never met any, a lot of latin americans get the idea through the internet that Argentinians treat everyone else in latin america like garbage and see themselves as the superior nationality. Where do they get this idea from? I personally can say that as a Spanish- speaker there is a stereotype that Argentinians are racist, think they are of only European decent, narcissist, and think they are superior. I don't know where this stereotype started but I will say that the fact that there is stereotypes built online through countries or people who have not met or taken the time to understand certain customs of our brothers and sisters are ignorant and more than anything obviously not looking to know about them. I have seen people saying "Why should I support Argentinians when they laughed at Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Chile, etc.,?" First of all, get out of your computer go meet real people and not just read comments that someone would say in a moment of rivalry, don't build hate and generalizations from a small community of people whom already built the hate and generalizations the same way your are building them. Yes, there is rivalry but if you knew these Latin American countries you would probably love these countries and the Latin American people like you love your people and your country- we have many things in common our language, latin america, and our passionate cultures. When there are Argentinians who do fit this concept they are mostly always online spamming or trying to put down others you know why? because that's how upset and confused they are fighting over their identity or how badly they want to be recognized as superior that is why they go around trying to convince people when they can't even convince themselves or recognize the reality. In real life are there people who fit this generalization? Yes, not only in Argentina but in Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, etc., etc,. I have seen my fair share of people from all Latin America claim superiority in the stupidest things and put down other Latin Americans. Honestly, it's stupid. I think it's due to the fact that we are a variety of races /ethnicities where the world is ruled by a lot of European countries in many ways I think this is were the superiority or the wanting to be better behavior or comments come from it's embarrassing. Yes there are people who fit
these stereotypes but don't build hate towards a whole country- even
after personal experience I never once turned my back against the USA
after seeing how true the ignorance towards football is here and neither did I hate Brazil ever or wish
them the worst when they were being arrogant-There is much more ignorance to Latin America and I feel so ashamed when I see my Latin American people generalizing or being ignorant towards their own people if you think there is something wrong with a whole country go look at yourself first- your the problem not a whole country (and that goes to all the people around the world.) Anyways this World Cup has been great except for my anger towards Robben and the Netherlands and no not speaking of a whole country but their team.
As a Mexican-American chick, shouldn't I have been rooting for both Mexico and the USA in the World Cup?I like many Mexicans and latinos in the USA end up cheering for our parents original place of birth and this is due to a lot of things! I know there are Americans who would get upset over this and probably comment "If you don't cheer for your country then get out" but the thing is a lot of Americans don't understand the reasoning behind supporting a nation that is not the USA! My main reasons along with many other people's reasons are pretty much this:
We love living here! but...... Many latin americans have bad experience with other Americans because of race, ethnicity, and nationality it's common that there is a lot of ignorance regarding cultures which is what differentiates our ways of living in this the USA from other Americans but these different customs trace back to the origin of our culture..... another nation. Loyalty........ How can it be considered wrong to cheer for another nation? I personally find it harder........ much much harder cheering the team USA for a number of things but mainly because of how uncomfortable it is. It's not the same celebrating with a group of people who would be considered the actual "Americans" whom (some) have certain ignorance or don't understand other cultures specifically speaking Latin American cultures, the cultures that are carried by teams from where our families come from, the Americans team rivals. Also it's uncomfortable having other people whom identify as American only' ignore or put down their own nationalities and talk down countries whom are the origins of their parents. For example, I have seen Mexican Americans who cheer for the USA and talk badly about Mexico or our team, it's extremely uncomfortable. Hypocrisy, I find this even more uncomfortable because I experience it more than self hating American fans. More than anything I find it annoying but first, I want to point out the World Cup is not limited to only people who live elsewhere.
Well the title speaks for itself doesn't it? Poor Brazil. Unexpected loss, I honestly did think Germany had a good chance of winning but not like this.... It's funny when you have to watch the football game through spotty wifi and when it comes back on Germany scores a goal, this happened about 3 times. Literally through the first 2-5 goals I was in shock! Confused. I had no clue what was happening because it was obviously a game that I thought would be won 2-1. I mean I had to slap my self because I couldn't believe it I was more in shock because of the spotty wifi which made it much more of a surprise when I hear the Gooooooooool ! ! ! ! ! !
I honestly think this was due to a lot of things: the coach, the missing Neymar and Thiago Silva, mentality throughout the game, only changing two players during the break, missed goals, disorganization, etc., etc., I am still in a bit of a shock and I believe this will be memory to last forever!
I find that the teams that usually stay in this World Cup have divers or don't seem to be putting in all their effort but the ones that I believe should've stayed were Mexico, Chile, Algeria, and maybe even Costa Rica and Colombia.
People might think that I am being biased towards Mexico but I am not (I know my limits) they had everything to keep going they were beating Netherlands and dominating until the unspoken happened... I also felt that some of the best games were against Brazil and latino countries I don't know what it's due to but I feel a more passionate vibe from latino countries. I personally feel that the most amazing games so far were Chile-Brazil (I honestly wanted Chile to win and I believed they had it to go forward). I also thought the other most amazing game was Brazil-Mexico and again it's not that I am being biased but to me these were the most entertaining, I was in the edge of my seat the whole time (I believe that Brazil dominated the first half and the second half Mexico did). A lot of people don't know this but our Memo Ochoa our Goalkeeper also kept Brasil from scoring two other times:

I can never forgive Robben for what he did to my team today and the stupid referees, I will not go as far of accusing them of racism as some people have but damn they are corrupt? is that the right word or maybe even paid for. A lot of them seemed to have something against my team. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A PENALTY KICK! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Yeah, that seems about accurate XD Today Mexico played against Netherlands. Where do I start, THEY WERE WINNING BY 1 GOAL THREE MINUTES BEFORE THE GAME ENDED AND THEN THEY WOULD HAVE MADE HISTORY AND MOVED ON TO SEMIFINALES -------> Thinking about this makes me feel so sick. Netherlands was not playing badly but I thought they were going to be difficult because everybody always said we wouldn't win against them but we were playing much better than them. Giovanni Dos Santos made the first goal and they did not make a goal until three minutes before reaching the 93' minutes and our goalkeeper is amazing just that even I couldn't tell who had the ball because at that point all the Netherlands players were all bundled right in front of him. We tied and then Robben totally dived and received a penalty. I have no words for these players it's disgustingly unfair. Don't any of you dare tell me "Mexico was going to loose anyways"or that "It's their fault" because I will beat the living crap out of anyone. Ugh the worst part was seeing them cry it makes me feel so so so sad. This Mexico is the Mexico I wanted to watch play in the World Cup. Mexico is good and people don't seem to see that so the main thing others would say when tying with Brazil or kicking Croatia in the butt is "They were just lucky" I say a BIG NO. They are good they may not have a world star striker that the world wants but I wouldn't trade any of them because they each individually have a unique talent, the problem is their mind set and what bothers me is even some Mexican people don't believe they can do it, which honestly makes me angry it only takes one comment to bring someone down. I knew we weren't safe when we scored the first goal, I had a bad feeling at the pit of my stomach and something was telling there would be a pattern like what happened to Chile (whom I believe played better than Brazil and also deserved to be in semi finales). It's unfair and I really don't want to be a bad sport or sound bitter but the last thing on my mind is praising Netherlands or wishing them luck and that stupid referee along with all the other ones who did us wrong..................... I HOPE YOU GET FIRED! ! ! ! ! ! Oh yeah I can't help but feel happy that we beat Crotia 3-1 after talking badly about us, tying with Brazil almost scoring on them and blocking all their strikes, and beating Cameroon 1-0 after 2 of our other goals by our dear Giovanni Dos Santos were not counted by the stupid referee. I can't help but say I am proud. HE HE. Modric pretty much said his team was better than us and that he has striked against better goalkeepers.It's funny because Memo Ochoa our goalkeeper pretty much shut him up when he tried to score on us. They said our knees would be shaking in fear hehe sure shut them up!!!!!!

It wasn't our time yet to win the World Cup but seeing the way we played and fought against the unjustness, beating tough teams, and surpassing expectations I think it was obvious that all these divers and bad referees and even just bad timing would get in the way. Not so much these teams who are so highly praised well ok, maybe their cheating tactics would get in the way. I think if there is anything that Mexico needs it's a great coach, I find it funny that they were going through so many coaches in a couple of months before the World Cup started and were hanging on a thread of hope to make it in the World Cup but with this coach Piojo we went farther than all the people who underestimated Mexico who thought we would go lose easily. We beat Cameroon 1-0 which was supposed to be 3-0 with two goals annulled, we tied with Brazil, we shut Croatia's trap 3-1, and we basically tied with Netherlands while dominating the game the whole time but were unfairly taken out of this Cup. If there are a couple things that I think would help this Mexican team improve a lot it's the mentality and drive for determination which sadly is always brought down by their own people; this drive for determination and mentality is what made them soar. I also think it would be great if they would specialize a little more on shot accuracy and have a world class striker in Mexico not that our team doesn't have this ability but I feel we need a striker who specialty is as a striker. I hope in 4 years we will move even farther and have improved much more! ! ! ! ! ! !

I think I can kind of get over the non-existent penalty which resulted in Mexico's eliminitation! Why?

I am sorry but I don't feel bad should I really explain why? Robben is the worst even made comments of Argentina saying they won't win against Germany and that Netherlands was dominating the game the whole time......... Please, Argentina definitely plays better than Netherlands get off the high plank already, Robben!

Rafa Marquez our Team Leader who may I add was attending his last World Cup this year and made history for many years with our Mexican team was being blamed by other people for the penalty which was in first place non-existent because Robben dived for it. This really makes me mad I love and have great respect for our Rafa Marquez but that was one of the most bitter endings for our Team Leader due to the diving.

sides. This whole world cup was Mexico VS Referees.
Robben's ego is bigger than anything, a disgrace lost all my respect to them and also his no-shame babbling comments after they played with Argentina and Mexico.

Well this was pretty much the review of the Netherlands dirty players with a high ego and no shame! But yes I remember that there was a picture that said "Robben dived...... but there is God" and boy did they lose with double the penalties missed as they eliminated us with one non-existent penalty. Take those two existent penalties Robben! I still wish the 7-1 was Netherlands loosing..........

I hate the Netherlands team for every reason from disrespect, arrogance, and cheating players. I hope Brazil uses everything in them to return in the second half to destroy them! Robben and the Netherlands team is hated by mostly all people who know Robben cheated against them. 3:25 Well I just hope that from now on that Brazil along with all the Latin American communities can become greater in these 4 years and that in the next World Cup 2018 Russia they impress me and show that they don't just have passion but that they deserve the World Cup as well.
