Teeth Whitening

Everybody always wants to whiten their teeth, I mean who doesn't want beautiful white teeth?
I personally have experience with teeth whitening with results that aren't all that extraordinaire but more of an improvement:

B a k i n g S o d a :

This was something I used to brush my teeth and as many have heard it whitens your teeth, yes it's true! Don't expect your teeth to be extremely white but expect your teeth to be lightened. What I did was floss after every meal and then brush my teeth with whitening toothpaste then use baking soda and after doing this routine over and over again I found my teeth did lighten. I also think Whitening Mouthwash would give it a kick but beware this might be abrasive on your teeth! Chemicals can harm your teeth in the long-run and actually damage your teeth if not used right, just like soda can melt certain metals! Interesting enough I am currently trying out teeth pulling!

O i l P u l l i n g :
I am currently trying this and I will come back months later to address how well this worked!
What is it? Oil Pulling sounds weird doesn't it? Oil pulling is actually using coconut oil and swishing it in your mouth (DO NOT SWALLOW IT)as if it were a mouthwash (can actually be used instead of a mouthwash) for about 20 minutes and then spitting it out in a trash can, you don't want to spit or put oil in your sink because it's not good for your water pipes! Afterwards you can use baking soda to brush your teeth again to get rid of the taste! This has a couple positive benefits:
  • Helps with bleeding gums
  • It whitens teeth in the long-run
  • It helps with congestion
  • It helps with allergies
  • It helps you breathe a little better
What it actually does? When you swish it around in your mouth for 20 minutes it's actually collecting plaque, bacteria, food, etc., etc., The oil thickens as well because of what it's collecting so it's very different after you spit it out!

Where can you buy coconut oil? It seems hard to find coconut oil in your local store but believe me you can buy it if you know where they sell it, you can find it online X or if you rather find it at a nearby store you can probably find it at Costco for a great quantity, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, possibly all the big stores that carry a variety of organic products or a variety of foods. Beware Coconut Oil comes in different forms the liquid or the solid either is fine but DO NOT buy coconut oil that is not edible or coconut oil that is meant to be for different purposes! The solid of Coconut Oil can be dissolves in heat and becomes a liquid so either the liquid or the solid is fine.
